Housing inventory is already small for the average buyer. However, both home buyers and renters with disabilities are at a severe disadvantage due to the lack of resources and accessible housing available here in Montgomery County.
From our conversations with disabled home seekers, the vast majority of resources favor disabled veterans, the elderly, and low-income households. Those with accessibility needs that don’t fit into those categories tend to be lost, forgotten, and left to fend for themselves.
